Olaug Bergseth, Senior External Relations Manager, GARDP, DNDi
Olaug joined GARDP in April 2018 as Senior External Relations Manager.
Olaug has extensive experience in resource mobilization and global partnership development. Over the years she has worked closely with multi-stakeholder teams to develop numerous long-term strategic partnerships with major private and public sector companies and organizations. These partnerships have addressed a wide range of areas, including global health priorities, and contributed to the delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on creating shared value for all stakeholders.
Prior to joining GARDP, Olaug worked for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). During her time in the IFRC she held different positions, including senior positions in operations and long term development programs as well as in resource mobilization. Her work in resource mobilization included strategy development, advocacy, and communication. Before joining the IFRC, Olaug worked in various positions in Norway including with the Government focusing on education and female entrepreneurs.
Olaug has a Master Degree in Development Geography from the University in Bergen, Norway which included extensive fieldwork in Nicaragua.
